Who we are
We are a group of experienced counsellors who offer individual counselling, therapy and group therapy in Brighton and Hove and the surrounding Sussex area. We also offer supervision for counsellors and trainee counsellors and continuing professional development (CPD) workshops in Brighton & Hove and Sussex.
We are all registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. Each counsellor works from a person centred or humanistic perspective. This means that we believe that you are the expert on your own experience, not us.
Individual counselling
We are counsellors with a wide range of experience and will work with any issue that you bring. We have particular experience working with:
Personal relationship issues, loss and bereavement, depression including post-natal depression (PND), childhood sexual abuse (both male and female), anxiety, anger management, suicide and suicide bereavement, and issues that affect people diagnosed with mental illness.
Our appointments last for 50 minutes and usually happen once a week at the same time. We work in the daytime, evening and weekends. We mainly see people in counselling rooms near Seven Dials, a central location in Brighton and Hove. However, we may be able work with you in your own home if you prefer. We can also offer telephone and internet-based counselling.
Our fees
We charge for counselling on a sliding scale based on what you can afford. We have three levels of fees:- £35 - £55 full price
- £25 - £35 concessions
- £15 - £25 low-cost (limited spaces available)
We offer an initial 30 minute session for £7 where you can meet with a counsellor, ask questions and explore whether counselling is right for you.
